MATT DAVIS, CHIEF PRODUCTION OFFICER
Matt Davis is Chief Production Officer at CSM Production, one of the nation's premier event and corporate meeting production companies serving major corporations and the professional sports and entertainment industries. The senior executive manages corporate production, special events, opening ceremonies and live shows departments including technical production and technical operations. Collectively, the teams complete more than 250 events a year.
With more than 20 years of hands-on experience designing and executing national sports and entertainment events, Davis’ leadership is integral for strategic planning, account management, event conceptualization, planning and execution, production gear acquisition and management. Prior to CSM, Davis was director of facilities for the University of Central Florida athletic teams, overseeing athletic facility management and maintenance, construction of a new basketball arena and football stadium, game operations and strategic planning for all campus sports amenities.
The West Virginia native is a graduate of Marshall University with a Bachelor of Science in sports marketing and a Master’s degree in athletic administration.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
“Worry about things you can control.”

Visit Banff National Park and Lake Louise
If you had your own late night talk show, who would be the first guest?
I’m not much of a talker…it might get cancelled before I had my first guest!
What’s the most rewarding thing about working at CSM Production?
My biggest reward is growing through the company, and seeing people take the groundwork we’ve laid over the past 15 years and making it better than we ever could.
What’s your favorite sandwich?
Creamy Peanut Butter and Strawberry Jam. It can either be dinner, or dessert, or both. It’s gotta be on white bread.
Do you have any hidden talents or talents people would be surprised you have?
I consider myself to be an amateur “photographalist.” That’s how I describe it.
What’s your personal theme song?
Hopeless Wanderer by Mumford & Sons.
If you could eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Steak & Eggs. - Medium Rare Steak, and Over Medium Eggs.
What is the last TV show you binge watched?
I don’t watch a ton of TV, but the last I binged was Ozark.
If you were an olympic athlete, which sport would you play?
Basketball - I’d be a shooting guard.
