CSM Production is proud to announce this year’s “Dog and Pony” awards winners who exemplify our values. The awards were handed out at the annual Holiday Party held on Thursday, December 20 at The Fillmore in Charlotte.
The Collaboration Award recognizes a person that keeps the overarching business top of mind and is committed to connecting the dots within the CSM North America family of companies.
- 2018 Winner: Jim Ablard
The Customer Service Award salutes the individual and/or team who goes above and beyond the call of duty to deliver excellent customer service within the company.
- 2018 Winner: Administration Department
The Unsung Hero Award recognizes a person that simply makes things happen every day without much fanfare.
- 2018 Winner: Chuck Sloop
With an unwavering loyalty and commitment to our mission, the Bert Award honors an individual who is excited to come to work and shares that enthusiasm each day.
- 2018 Winner: Nate Poirier
The Vision and Passion Award honors an individual that continually goes above and beyond to ensure our products and client service are excellent.
- 2018 Winner: Jordan Black
The Best Save Award honors the action(s) that were implemented to rescue an event or activity from having a really bad day.
- 2018 Winner: SMI Gear Swap- Tech Ops/Production
- Why? The Tech Ops team handled having to get gear from place to place in May seamlessly, often times having to get gear two places in one day.
The Goose Bump Award honors THE moment of the year, the event that gave you goose bumps watching.
- 2018 Winner: Judah & The Lion Unplugged
- Why? At Circle K Speed Street there is a strict noise curfew in place and Judah & The Lion came out for their encore and sang in the crowd without PA.
The Safe Driver Award recognizes a safe-driving record and superior performance throughout the year.

Recognizing CSM Production Loyalty: CSM Production’s “people first” philosophy is evident in all we do. At the Dog and Pony Awards, Jay Howard recognized Jordan Black, Steve Moore, and Luiz Bacellar for five years of service. For 10 years of service, Jeremy Callahan and Paul Nolasco were presented with black bus trophies and personalized CSM Production guitars. Celebrating 15 years of service at CSM Production was Brad Smith, Ryan Baxter, and Gary Dozier. Congratulations!
The Newest Family Members: Jay Howard welcomed the newest additions to the CSM Production family: Hayes Samuel Rogers, son of Meredith and Tripp Rogers; Lucas David Poirier, son of Jill and Nate Poirier; and Penelope Judy Hancock, daughter of Dawn Schaefer and Brian Hancock. Howard presented each proud parent with a certificate of deposit for their child’s future education.
